One Day Course

One Day Paragliding Course

• We offer a Taster day where you can learn to manage the wing on the ground and have a few short low level flights. These are ideal if you think you might take the sport up, as they build a foundation for the next stage.

This workshop is designed to teach you the fundamentals of paragliding.  You don't need to have any previous flying skill.  If the weather permits, the coach will offer a free tandem flight. The course fee includes the following:

•  A 5 points pre-flight safety check (helmet, seat belt, belt, wind, traffic)
• Takeoff technology
• Direction and speed control of the paraglider
• Ground gliding control, looking for lift and altitude squat technology
• How to land
• How to safely fly a paraglider

Notes:

• The course takes 4-6 hours depending on the weather conditions.
• Price: 2,500 HKD.
• Deposit:  To reserve the training, you will need to make a deposit of $38 USD (300 HKD) by booking below.  The remaining 2,200 HKD can be paid when training begins.
• Location:  The exact location will be determined 2-3 days before the training begins based on the weather.  Usually the location is on Hong Kong island.

Eight Day Course

SPG1: 8 day Novice Paragliding License
​At the completion of the course you will have learned the following skills:

• Correctly unpack/pack the paraglider and harness and  correctly lay out the paraglider
• Demonstrate the 5 point pre-flight safety check, and have a firm control of ground handling
• Demonstrate canopy establishment (inflation), as well as Showing consistent ability to take off, land, use directional control, and abort
• Have completed at least 6 satisfactory paragliding flights on at least 2 bunny hills
• Be able to land in a standing position
• Demonstrate knowledge of hard landing technique
• Demonstrate an ability to assess suitable weather conditions for paragliding
• Be able to evaluate suitable launch and landing areas
• Show competence as a launch assistant
• Demonstrate a safe attitude towards paragliding

Notes:

• The course takes 8 days depending on the weather conditions.
• This is a trainee license.  This allows students to fly solo under supervision of an instructor.
• Price: 1,600 USD.
• Deposit: 200 USD.​  The remaining 1,400 USD can be paid later.

Ten Day Course

SPG2: 10 day Paragliding License
About the License:

• SPG1 must be completed before you can take this course.
• The SPG2 license is recognized world wide.
• This lisence gives you the ability to fly anywhere in the world without supervision.  It is the ultimate solo paragliding license.
• Participants will learn all matters related to paragliding including, pre-flight preparation, in flight training, and landing.
• Participants will be required to pass a written test.
• Students will learn advanced flight control, acceleration, increased sinking, 360 steering, one-handed control, big ears, thermaling, soaring, and other maneuvers.
• Please message us or email us for a full summary of this course.
• A sufficient number of flights is needed (25 flights) to be issued the license. 
• You can choose any 10 days you like.  Choose the first day you want when booking. 
• Price: 1,600 USD.
• Deposit: 200 USD.​  The remaining 1,400 USD can be paid later.
• Participants will learn airflow theory, how to stay and extend the air time, and perform top landings.
